Job Title: AutoCAD 2D Technical Drafter
Location: Chelsea, MA
Type: Full-Time (Permanent)
Shift: 1st Shift
Hourly: $25/hour (Full-time, 40 hours per week)Position Overview:
We are seeking an AutoCAD 2D Technical Drafter to support our design team. The CAD Drafter will be responsible for preparing and revising shop drawings for custom stainless and wood products in the foodservice industry. This position offers an opportunity for growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

Create and revise shop drawings based on blueprints/architectural details and specifications.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.
Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth workflows and resolve any challenges.
Troubleshoot design issues and develop practical solutions.
Ensure drawings meet required specifications and quality standards.
Prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines in a high-energy environment.
Maintain effective communication with team members and departments.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proficient in AutoCAD (2007 or newer), with a focus on 2D drafting.
Ability to read and understand shop drawings, blueprints, and architectural floor plans.
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication is helpful.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
