Fiber Optic Assembler
Location: Wallingford, CT
Duration: 3-month temp-to-permanent

We invest in excellent working partnerships, powered by people.Position Summary and Special Duties:As a Fiber Optic Assembler, your responsibilities will include:

Following blueprints and instructions to assemble fiber optic cables.
Soldering to complete assembled products.
Performing microscopic inspections on finished cables.
Conducting finished product tests.
Adjusting any misplaced wires to ensure accurate production.

Requirements:

Experience with fiber optics.
Familiarity with a clean room environment.
Assembly experience.
Ability to stand for 8+ hours and perform repetitive hand motions (gripping, grasping, twisting).
Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.

Additional Details:

Benefits: Available during the contract; after 3 months, the company pays 95% of benefits.
Shift: 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM).
