As a Machine Assembler, your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to:This position is primarily responsible for performing complex machine assembly.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform complex assembly.
Measure in inch and metric.
Work from blueprints, part lists, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
Responsible for troubleshooting.
Improve all related processes considering productivity, efficiency, and working conditions.
Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Work overtime if needed.
Attend applicable meetings and implement resulting decisions.
Follow and enforce company rules and regulations.
Support SYNCHRO.
Follow TRUMPF Quality Standards (TQS).
Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in machine tool assembly or 5 years of experience in manufacturing machine tool parts, maintenance, or service.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without aid and perform repetitive reaching and bending.
Familiarity with documentation, drawings, and part lists is helpful.
Ability to read simple schematics and blueprints is essential.
Must be able to work with accurate measuring devices.
Experience with electrical wiring assembly and computer literacy is a plus.
Forklift license is a plus.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

DETAILS:

Duration: Long-term temp, up to 1 year
M-F 7:00am-3:30pm – always potential for OT
Location: Farmington, CT.
Pay: $23/hour
Shift: 1st shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
