As a Machine Assembler, your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to:This position is primarily responsible for performing complex machine assembly.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex assembly.
  • Measure in inch and metric.
  • Work from blueprints, part lists, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting.
  • Improve all related processes considering productivity, efficiency, and working conditions.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Work overtime if needed.
  • Attend applicable meetings and implement resulting decisions.
  • Follow and enforce company rules and regulations.
  • Support SYNCHRO.
  • Follow TRUMPF Quality Standards (TQS).
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in machine tool assembly or 5 years of experience in manufacturing machine tool parts, maintenance, or service.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without aid and perform repetitive reaching and bending.
  • Familiarity with documentation, drawings, and part lists is helpful.
  • Ability to read simple schematics and blueprints is essential.
  • Must be able to work with accurate measuring devices.
  • Experience with electrical wiring assembly and computer literacy is a plus.
  • Forklift license is a plus.
Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
DETAILS:
  • Duration: Long-term temp, up to 1 year
  • M-F 7:00am-3:30pm – always potential for OT
  • Location: Farmington, CT.
  • Pay: $23/hour
  • Shift: 1st shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
