We are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler II located in Beverly, MA.Position Summary and Special Duties:The Precision Assembler II is responsible for assembling and testing high-precision products of varying complexity under minimal supervision. This person will also be responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed. As a (an) Mechanical Assembler II your day to day duties will consist of and may not be limited to: Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Assemble a variety of subassemblies, standard and special products using established procedures.
Accurate fitting, aligning, and adjusting required to very close tolerances or precision fits subject to strict inspection.
Set up, and test complete products to ensure that units meet specification and customer order requirements
Other responsibilities as required.

The ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions
The ability to explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.

Must be a quality-minded that takes the initiative to improve product and process performance
Understanding of the importance of customer service
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to details
Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct reports.Work Environment This job operates in a dedicated laboratory in a professional manufacturing environment. Employees in this role routinely use electrical test equipment, standard hand tools, and some office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully, some of which may be done with accommodations. While performing this job's duties, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and in writing. The employee is frequently required to move about the office, use a computer, and reach with hands and arms. It may be necessary to lift 50 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision.
Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery for precision work.
Must have visual acuity (corrected) to read directions and prints and inspect machined parts closely to ensure that they meet specifications; visual abilities also include close vision, distance vision, color vision.
Frequently required to sit, stand, move about the shop floor, talk, hear, bend and reach with hands and arms
Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to squat or kneel occasionally
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time hourly position that operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.Travel Travel is not required for this role.Required Education and Experience • High School Diploma or GED• 3 years in an assembly environment #HP360
