Join us and be part of a team where excellence meets opportunity!We are currently seeking SMT Operators for multiple openings on 1st and 2nd shifts.Position Summary:As an SMT Operator, you will operate screen printers, paste inspection machines, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens. This role requires collaboration with group leaders, setup personnel, and parts coordinators to ensure efficient setup and job execution.Key Responsibilities:
Operate screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens with precision.
Communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
Identify and resolve minor issues; escalate complex problems to supervisors.
Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Work effectively as part of a team and under time pressure.
Adapt positively to change and contribute to a healthy, safe work environment.
Adhere to MPI, OSHA, and SDS safety standards.
Utilize MPI MIS (Aegis) software and demonstrate proficiency in component identification.
Perform tasks based on experience level (see details below).
Job Qualifications:
Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Valid U.S. citizenship, driver’s license, and access to reliable transportation.
1-5 years of industry experience or equivalent.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and resolve issues involving simple variables.
IPC 610 Certification preferred.
Clear reason for leaving previous employers.
Level I Operator Requirements:
Perform basic assembly tasks, including loading, printing, and unloading screen printers and paste inspection machines.
Operate pick-and-place machines and reflow ovens.
Work with feeders proficiently.
Experience: 0-3 years.
Level II Operator Requirements:
Perform complex assembly tasks with minimal supervision.
Conduct daily machine maintenance and manage SMT project inventory.
Set up feeders, load programs, perform minor edits, and analyze data.
Demonstrate working knowledge of Fuji-tracks.
Hand-place difficult parts and train/supervise others.
Experience: 3-5 years.
Additional Details:Shifts Available:
1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM ($18-$20/hour based on experience).
2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM ($20-$22/hour based on experience).
Other Open Roles:
SMT Operators (4 positions): 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), $18-$20/hour based on experience.
SMT Operators (2 positions): 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), $20-$22/hour based on experience.
