We are currently seeking a Strategic Supply Management Specialist for a client in White Plains, NY. Duration: 12+ month contract (benefits eligible)
Location: White Plains, NY – hybrid with a minimum of 3 days on-sitePay Rate: $35-40/hour depending on experience Project OverviewThe Category Management team currently seeking a Strategic Supply Management Specialist to provide purchase requisition processing support due to an influx in projects within Canals. Job Functions & Responsibilities

Prepare bid documents, price inquiries and addendums for all the various NYPA departments services contracts.
Promote strict adherence to all Procurement and other applicable policies and procedures, and recommend modifications as needed.
Ensure all required contract documents are in compliance and complete, and execute agreements, change orders, releases, etc.
Assist with supporting all systems and tools required by Procurement activities, including but not limited to systems related to purchasing and contract management, third-party vendor management and reporting.

Skills

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Working knowledge of materials and inventory management, logistics, quality assurance, quality control, maintenance and operations.
Experience with SAP Procurement and Ariba.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent work experience/training.
2-5+ years of relevant experience with proven track record of achievement.
