With over 50 years of experience placing people with both small and global companies, we serve clients nationwide from our offices in New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Progressive Die Tool Designer with expertise in CATIA to join our dynamic team at a leading stamping company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing progressive stamping dies and a proven ability to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop progressive dies for metal stamping processes using CATIA software.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements and client specifications.
Conduct feasibility studies, material flow analyses, and ensure proper die functionality.
Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of tooling components and assemblies.
Optimize die designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability while adhering to project timelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to die design and implementation.
Maintain design documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive die design experience in a manufacturing environment.
Software Proficiency: Advanced expertise in CATIA for 3D modeling and design.
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design, or a related field (preferred).
Strong knowledge of metal stamping processes, material properties, and tool steel selection.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Experience with sheet metal forming and secondary operations.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
